Shoulder Pain Treatment:
- Consultation with specialists: Doctors of physical and rehabilitation medicine assess the condition and develop an individualized treatment plan.
- Medication: Pain relievers and anti-inflammatory medications to alleviate pain and reduce inflammation.
- Injections: Administration of corticosteroids or hyaluronic acid to reduce pain and improve joint mobility.
- Physiotherapy: Use of ultrasound, electrotherapy, and magnetotherapy to alleviate pain and restore tissues.
- Rehabilitation and Manual Therapy: Application of special exercises to restore mobility and strengthen shoulder muscles.
Comprehensive Rehabilitation Program “Shoulder Pain”:
This program is ideal for people experiencing pain in the upper limb, which limits their daily activities (dressing, hygiene procedures, etc.). For effectiveness, sessions should take place three times a week, every other day.
The program is designed for 1 month.
The program includes:
- 2 consultations with a multi-professional rehabilitation team (at the start and end of the course), which includes a physician specializing in physical and rehabilitation medicine, a physical therapist, and an occupational therapist.
- Setting short-term goals focused on improving mobility and reducing pain.
- 12 sessions with an occupational therapist up to 60 minutes. Each session includes manual techniques to alleviate pain and special exercises using Thera-Band, Pablo System Tyromotion to improve amplitude and strength of movements in the upper limb.
At the end of the course:
We offer transitioning to a maintenance rehabilitation program or creating an individualized home-based exercise program to consolidate the achieved results.
