Diseases for which laparoscopy is used:

Endometriosis: This is a disease in which endometrial tissue grows outside the uterus. Laparoscopy allows for the removal of these tissues and reduces symptoms, improving a woman's quality of life.

Stages of laparoscopic surgery at the Helios Center:

1.Consultation and diagnostics: The doctor collects a detailed history, conducts the necessary examinations (ultrasound, tests, hysterosalpingography, other methods), to determine the need and method of surgical intervention.

2.Preoperative consultation: Before laparoscopic surgery, the patient undergoes a consultation, where the doctor:

Collects a history: studies symptoms, previous diseases and medical prescriptions.
Evaluates the examination: the doctor reviews the results of ultrasound, CT, MRI and other tests to determine the condition of the organs.
Discusses treatment methods: explains the options for surgery, their benefits and risks.
Preparation for surgery: gives recommendations on diet and restrictions before surgery.
Determining the date of surgery: The patient is offered a plan of further actions, and the date of surgery is assigned.

3.Preparation for surgery: The patient receives instructions on how to prepare for surgery, including nutrition, medication, and restrictions before the procedure.

4.Surgery: Laparoscopic surgery is performed through small incisions in the abdominal wall. The doctor inserts a camera and instruments to precisely remove pathological changes without significant damage to the surrounding tissues.

5.Postoperative period: After laparoscopy, the patient usually recovers quickly, most women can return to their normal lifestyle within a few days after surgery. Rehabilitation includes observation and compliance with certain recommendations of the doctor.
