Stages of Traumatic Brain Injury:
- Acute stage — the first 3 days after the injury. This phase involves stabilizing the patient's condition and conducting necessary examinations to assess brain damage.
- Subacute stage — the first 3 weeks after the injury. This includes active medication therapy, surgical intervention (if necessary), and the start of initial rehabilitation.
- Intermediate stage — after 3 weeks. This phase focuses on functional recovery, where rehabilitation begins to improve both physical and neuropsychological health.
