Sinusoidal modulated currents exert the following effects on soft tissues where they are applied:
- Activate blood circulation, allowing better oxygen delivery to affected tissues, which accelerates their healing process.
- Improve local metabolism in areas of inflammation or degeneration.
- Reduce pain in the affected area by acting on nerve endings.
- Normalize muscle tone, helping to prevent skeletal muscle atrophy and relieve muscle spasms.
- Improve lymph flow from the affected area, leading to faster removal of toxins and waste products.
- Reduce swelling.
- Improve the drainage function of hollow organs, such as the gallbladder or bladder.
