Adnexectomy and tubectomy at the Helios Surgery and Rehabilitation Center

Adnexectomy is a surgical operation to remove one or both of the uterine appendages, i.e. the ovaries and fallopian tubes. Tubectomy is the removal of one or both fallopian tubes. The surgery may involve removing one or both ovaries and fallopian tubes, depending on the indications.

4.Postoperative period:

The patient is hospitalized under the supervision of doctors to monitor recovery.
After laparoscopy, the recovery period is shorter, usually taking a few days.
In the case of open surgery, rehabilitation may take longer.
After surgery, it is important to follow the doctor's recommendations regarding physical activity and sexual life.
