Initial appointment
- The doctor collects anamnesis: asks in detail about symptoms, menstrual cycle, history of previous diseases and surgeries.
- Physical examination and palpation to identify painful areas.
Diagnostic examinations
- Ultrasound of the pelvic organs to assess the structure and size of the cyst.
- Laboratory tests: determination of the level of tumor markers (CA-125).
- In complex cases - MRI or CT to clarify the diagnosis.
Treatment plan
- Determination of the treatment method depending on the size of the cyst, the patient's age and plans for pregnancy.
