Active Rehabilitation Program for Parkinson’s Disease
This program is designed for individuals with Parkinson’s disease who face movement difficulties, problems with walking, balance, and everyday activities (such as dressing, personal hygiene). Sessions are held 3 times a week, every other day, and the program lasts for 1 month.
The program includes:
1.Consultations with the multidisciplinary rehabilitation team:
- Initial consultation
- Final consultation (at the end of the program)
2.Physical therapy:
- 12 sessions with a physical therapist, 60 minutes each.
3.Ergotherapy:
- 12 sessions with an ergotherapist, 60 minutes each.
4.Psychological support:
- 8 sessions with a psychologist, 60 minutes each, to address emotional challenges, fears, and anxiety.
5.Setting short-term goals: individualized goals at each stage of treatment.
If necessary:
- Additional consultations with specialists, psychologists, or other professionals.
Results of active rehabilitation:
- Maximum recovery of impaired functions.
- Improvement in motor activity and coordination.
- Overcoming psychological barriers, fears, and anxiety.
- Improved well-being and quality of life.
- Regaining everyday living skills.
- Improvement in physical endurance and ability to handle physical activity.
After the course, we offer the option of transitioning to a maintenance rehabilitation program or an individual home-based program.
