Ultrasound Therapy (UST)
Ultrasound therapy is a modern treatment method that uses a specialized device emitting ultrasound waves at different frequencies. These waves compress and stretch tissues, stimulating regenerative processes in the body.
Ultrasound has physical-chemical, thermal, and mechanical effects on the body. The mechanical effect is the most important: acoustic pressure generates microvibrations in tissues, creating a massage effect in areas inaccessible to manual techniques. Additionally, thermal effects improve blood vessel function, while physical and chemical processes activate cellular regeneration and the synthesis of biologically active compounds.
