Active Rehabilitation Program for "Multiple Sclerosis"
This program is suitable for people with multiple sclerosis who have problems with movement, walking, balance, and difficulties in everyday life (dressing, hygiene procedures, etc.). The program includes sessions 3 times a week, every other day, and is designed for 1 month.
The program includes:
1.Consultations of the multidisciplinary rehabilitation team:
- Initial consultation
- Mid-course consultation (after 2 weeks)
- Final consultation (at the end of the program)
2.Physical rehabilitation:
- 12 sessions with a physical therapist, 60 minutes each.
3.Ergotherapy:
- 12 sessions with an ergotherapist, 60 minutes each.
4.Adjustment of short-term goals: individualized approach at each stage of rehabilitation.
If necessary:
- Additional inclusion of a psychologist, neurologist, or other non-rehabilitation specialists.
Results of active rehabilitation:
- Maximum recovery of functions.
- Return of daily living skills.
- Overcoming fears related to the disease.
- Improvement of well-being and quality of life.
- Return to the social environment.
- Increased endurance to physical load.
For patients after stroke or traumatic brain injury:
- Recommended rehabilitation period: up to 3 months from the onset of the exacerbation.
For patients after spinal cord injury:
- Recommended rehabilitation period: up to 1 year.
This comprehensive program will help you not only improve your physical condition but also return to everyday life with greater confidence and restored social connections.
