Comprehensive active rehabilitation programs:
Comprehensive "Spinal Injury" Rehabilitation Program (Minimum):
This program is designed for people who have suffered a spinal cord injury or illness and experience significant difficulties with movement or daily activities (dressing, hygiene, etc.).
For best results, sessions should be held 5 times per week, Monday through Friday. Saturdays and Sundays are for full recovery.
The program lasts 1 month.
- 3 consultations with the multidisciplinary rehabilitation team (a physical and rehabilitation medicine doctor, physical therapist, and occupational therapist) – at the beginning, middle, and end of the course.
- Setting short-term goals.
- 20 physical therapy sessions of 60 minutes each.
- 18 occupational therapy sessions of 60 minutes each.
- 2 home visits by an occupational therapist (if home adaptation is needed, otherwise these sessions are added to center-based therapy).
At the end of the course, we offer a transition to a supportive rehabilitation program or an individual home exercise plan.
If needed, additional specialists such as psychologists and urologists can be involved.
