Biopsy Methods at Helуos

Our center uses advanced biopsy techniques that provide highly accurate results with minimal discomfort for the patient:

  • Fine-needle aspiration biopsy (FNAB) – used to collect cellular material.
  • Core needle biopsy (CNB) – allows for a larger tissue sample for a more detailed analysis.
  • Vacuum-assisted biopsy – a minimally invasive method that allows for the removal of larger tissue samples.
  • Surgical biopsy – performed in cases where other methods do not provide sufficient information.
