Appointment preparation:
• Bring previous laboratory results, ultrasound reports, ECGs, and other test findings, if available
• Prepare a list of current and recently used medications, including doses
• Recall when symptoms began, how they have changed, and any treatments already tried
• Inform the doctor about chronic conditions, allergies, previous surgeries, and adverse drug reactions
• Write down the questions you would like to discuss
Routine laboratory tests are generally not required before the consultation. The physician determines the need for additional investigations individually.
