- The Video Surveillance System is the property of the Centre and is financed at its expense.
- The Video Surveillance System is used with due regard to the requirements of the Constitution of Ukraine and the Laws of Ukraine “On Access to Public Information”, “On Information” and “On the Protection of Personal Data”.
- The provisions of these Regulations apply to the employees and visitors of the Clinic.
II. Purpose and objectives of the Video Surveillance System
- Video surveillance at the Centre is carried out openly.
- Video monitoring is carried out in order to:
– make the security regime more effective;
– record events objectively;
– detect atypical situations in the area covered by video monitoring;
– provide monitoring in circumstances where it cannot be ensured by any other means.
- The objectives of the Video Surveillance System are:
1) to record information for an objective assessment should conflict situations arise between the Centre’s employees and visitors;
2) to prevent damage to the Centre’s property;

- The Video Surveillance System covers:
the clinic’s common areas, corridors, consulting rooms and the patients’ car parking areas.
III. Operating regime of the video surveillance system
- Video surveillance at the Centre permits the installation of external and internal cameras. Video surveillance at the facility is carried out continuously, around the clock and every day. The video cameras have infrared illumination, which is invisible to the human eye and lights up the area in front of the camera lens at night.
- Employees and patients of the Centre are notified of the video surveillance by signs and notices of the established type — “Video surveillance in operation”, “Video and audio surveillance in operation” — placed in visible locations.
- The Centre’s employees are acquainted with the orders on the installation of video surveillance against their personal signature.

- Access to the recordings of the video surveillance system is granted exclusively to authorised employees of the Centre designated by the relevant order.
- A recording from the video surveillance system may be provided to law enforcement agencies, the relevant services, state authorities and other persons in accordance with the current legislation of Ukraine on the basis of a reasoned written application addressed to the General Director of the Centre.
